STUDIO
POLICY
We have a NO REFUND policy. However, we will allow modifications and cancellations for reservations that are more than 24 hours from the contracted start time, and a credit will be issued for a future session. (Credits are valid for 12 months). If a change is made less than 24 hours before your reservation, 100% of booking fee will apply and no credit will be issued.
Rental time begins promptly at contracted start time and ends promptly at contracted end time, regardless if renter and/or renter’s party is late.
Fees for additional time that was not billed during the initial booking will be due by end of the following day. The card on file will be charged the late fee the following day.
Rental time includes load in, setup, tear down, and clean up. The studio must be clean and fully vacated by the scheduled end time. Please be courteous to the next guest’s appointment and consider this when booking your rental. If you utilize the space past your contracted end time, you will be charged at a $10 rate per minute.
$100 minimum cleaning fee required for excessively dirty studio and large groups or production crews up to 10 people.
Maximum of 10 people in renter’s party. For parties larger than 10, please request to reserve the studio as an event space.
Be respectful of the entire studio space
Music is to be kept at reasonable levels.
Use lighting and equipment for its intended purpose only.
Absolutely no candles or fires in studio at anytime. This includes sparklers and fireworks. No smoking is allowed in the studio. Projects involving smoke must have prior consent of a company representative
Due to the high visibility of our studio and our large windows, The Glossary does not allow nude or partially nude photography.
No glitter or confetti in the studio.
Pet's are allowed in the studio however we ask that they are restricted from sitting on furniture. Guests are responsible for any damage or any additional cleaning fees.
Absolutely no illicit drug use is allowed, and The Glossary reserves the right to terminate the reservation immediately without refund if such activity occurs.
Absolutely no nails or pins in the walls or backdrops. You must use command hooks or gentle painters tape if you need to hang items. You are 100% liable for any damages to the studio during your session.
If food is used, it must be properly disposed of and areas must be thoroughly cleaned after. Dumpster located in rear of building and cleaning supplies available for use.
Do not drag props and furniture across the floors. Pick them up and move them properly to avoid damaging the studio. Return all items to their original location when finished.
Report any damages, repairs or maintenance needed immediately upon arrival to management. If it is reported by the following person you may be held responsible for the damages.
The party listed on the reservation will be liable for any damages to the premises, or studio features, within their booking time.
Before your scheduled end time, please make sure the studio is clean. This includes taking garbage out, sweeping, and wiping down props and equipment as needed.
Renter may not sublease the studio to any third party.
Security cameras are active in all common areas.

Renters are their guests assume all risks and responsibilites for their actions while on the premises. The studio is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage, whether direct or indirect, resulting from use of the space.

EVENT
POLICY
IN ADDITION TO GUIDELINES LISTED ABOVE, PLEASE REVIEW POLICY FOR EVENT RENTAL BELOW;
50% non-refundable deposit required to secure your event. Balance due 72 hours prior to event.
There is no additional time allocated for set up and tear down of event.
Staff support available upon request and subject to availability | $25 per hour/ per staff member
Removal of studio furniture and decor may result in additional fees.
Event host will be liable for any damages to the premises within their booking time.

MEMBERSHIP
POLICY
By purchasing a Glossary Membership, you agree to recurring monthly billing and the policies below.
Membership Hours
The Regular includes 8 studio hours per billing cycle. The Resident includes 16 studio hours per billing cycle. One credit equals one studio hour. Hours may be used toward eligible standard studio rentals and are subject to availability.
Billing + Renewal
Memberships automatically renew and are billed monthly using the payment method on file until canceled. Membership hours renew with each billing cycle.
Rollover
Unused hours may roll into the next billing cycle, subject to the plan’s maximum balance. The Regular may hold up to 12 total hours and The Resident up to 24 total hours. Hours beyond the maximum balance will not accumulate.
Booking + Availability
Membership does not guarantee specific dates or times. Reservations must be made through The Glossary booking system and are subject to availability. Membership hours may only be used toward eligible studio rentals and cannot be applied to events, add-ons, special rentals, or other offerings unless otherwise stated.
Cancellations + Rescheduling
Membership reservations follow The Glossary’s standard cancellation policy. Reservations may be modified or canceled more than 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellations, changes, or no-shows within 24 hours may result in forfeiture of the membership hours used for that reservation.
Pricing + Discounts
Membership pricing cannot be combined with Glossary Pro pricing, promotional codes, special offers, or other discounts. Additional studio time beyond included membership hours may be booked separately at the applicable rate.
Membership Use
Memberships may not be shared, transferred, resold, or exchanged for cash. Members may use their reservations for their own clients, shoots, or productions.
Studio Guidelines
All membership reservations are subject to The Glossary’s current Studio Guidelines, including policies regarding occupancy, cleanup, overtime, damages, prohibited items, security, and permitted use. Members are responsible for the actions of all guests attending under their reservation.
Membership Cancellation
Canceling a membership stops future renewals but does not provide a refund for the current billing cycle or unused hours. Remaining benefits may be used through the end of the paid billing period.
The Glossary reserves the right to update membership pricing, benefits, or terms for future billing periods with notice.
